RMN Jr Skiers & Alumni On Podium at Super Tour Finals

RMN skiers and RMN Alumni posted excellent results in the USSA Super Tour Finals held in Sun Valley, Idaho at the end of March and the beginning of April.  The races consisted of four races, skate prologue, classic mass start, classic sprint, and a skate hill climb.   Results were calculated over the four races, and In the Junior J1 class Michaela Frias, Steamboat Springs, and Tucker McCrerey, Summit Nordic, both were the top J1 skiers in a very strong junior field.  Mary O’Connell, Steamboat Springs, was third in the J1 class.  In the boys J1 field Mike Vigers, Boulder Nordic, was second and Charlie Von Thaden, Steamboat Springs, was third.  Winter conditions in races except for the Sprint Heats existed in this Spring Series event.

RMN alumni also posted excellent results in the USSA Super Tour Finals.  Kris Freeman, Andover, NH, was first.  Simi Hamilton, Aspen and Sun Valley, was second; Noah Hoffman, Aspen, was third; and Tad Elliott, Durango, was fourth.
